Liverpool did not make an offer for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson in January.
The Brazil international was regularly linked with a switch to Anfield during the transfer window, but he has remained with the Serie A club for the time being.
And the Italian club’s sporting director Monchi has confirmed that they received no offers for their number one goalkeeper and that it’s too soon to speak about a potential Summer exit for the stopper.
“Did any offers come in for Alisson? No.” he said.
“It’s too early to talk about the next transfer window, it’s not very useful talking today, February 1, about who will stay or go.
“Let’s start talking about play, technique, tactics – that would be more useful for everyone.” he finished.
Liverpool are likely to make a bid in the Summer if Alisson continues impressing in the same manner that he has so far this season and if Loris Karius fails to cement the number one spot at Anfield.
