Juventus are not confident of completing a deal for Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
That’s the view of general manager Beppe Marotta, who believes that the Germany international could opt to remain at Anfield.
“For Emre Can, our interest is clear.” he said.
“We want to try to bring him to us, but it is not certain we will succeed because at the moment he has a contract offer from Liverpool and could renew.
“Also, there are other teams interested in him.” he finished.
Manchester City are believed to be interested in taking the former Bayer Leverkusen man to The Etihad and Bayern Munich have also been linked with a bid.
The Bundesliga champions may well have cooled their interest in re-signing Can having already beaten Liverpool to the signing of Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka.
