Klopp planning Pulisic bid

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp is set to renew his efforts to sign Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic.

The United States international has remained a target after the German failed in a move to sign him last year.

Having sold Brazil international Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for a reported £145m this week, the Reds boss has cash to spend.

Many supporters are calling for Klopp to splash out this month in order to bring in a replacement for the twenty-five year old.

But Klopp is not going to be hasty as he seeks a new playmaker and will bide his time as he seeks to bring in the right player to replace the Brazilian.

Dortmund will be very aware of how much Klopp has to spend and will demand top dollar for the teenager.

And FSG are likely to back Klopp as he seeks to bring the nineteen year old to Anfield as they see his commercial value in America.

  1. Again, FSG are only thinking of themselves and Pulisic as a commercial venture – as usual. About time they started thinking about the Club and its position in world football. Not forgetting the very people who pay the salaries of course, the supporters. Buy yes, but look at the shortfalls throughout the team and act accordingly.
