Inter Milan could be set to make a move to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who are reporting that the Serie A heavyweights are interested in taking the German to Italy next Summer.
Inter boss Luciano Spalletti is said to be keen to take the former Bayer Leverkusen man to the San Siro at the end of the season.
The Nerazzuri are currently right in the mix for the Serie A title and will return to the Champions League next Summer with a top three finish.
Spalletti will be looking to improve his squad to taken on Europe’s finest and a free transfer deal for Can would be a big bonus for them.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp remains hopeful of persuading Can to remain at Anfield beyond the end of the campaign, but the list of clubs keen to sign him is growing.
Inter’s domestic rivals Juventus have had a long-standing interest in signing him and will face competition from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United if the reports are accurate.
