Liverpool are being linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Reports in Germany claim that Jurgen Klopp could be set to launch a January bid to bring the Gabon international to Anfield when the transfer window opens.
The twenty-eight year old has been regularly linked with moves away from the Bundesliga club, but has not seen an acceptable offer made as yet.
According to recent claims, Liverpool may see England international striker Daniel Sturridge hand in a transfer request in the new year in order to seek out more regular football to ensure his place in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.
That would leave Klopp short up top with youngster Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings the only other forwards at his disposal, with Divock Origi on loan at Werder Bremen.
Many supporters would love to see Klopp launch a move to try and reunite with the Dortmund star, but given his age and likely price tag it would be unlikely that FSG would sanction a deal.
Chelsea are also said to be closely monitoring Aubameyang’s situation are unlikely to be the only ones given his scoring form.
