Former Zamalek owner Mamdouh Abbas has claimed that Mohamed Salah could leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Abbas was attending the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Saturday as a guest of Salah’s after refusing to sign him earlier in his career.
And he has revealed a conversation he had with Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, in which they agreed that the twenty-five year old should remain at Anfield until next Summer.
King Fut have translated his comments following the conversation with the agent:
“Mohamed Salah is currently an institution with a back-end working efficiently to get the best out of the player.” he said.
“Salah highly respects those in charge of this institution and as I have talked with his agent, we agreed that Salah should stay at Liverpool until the end of the season.
“If he scored above twenty goals in all competitions this season, his price could rise up to 150 million Euros.
“Most probably the upcoming destination for Salah will be La Liga.” he finished.
Salah has previously played in the Premier League for Chelsea and went on to play for Fiorentina and Roma in Italy before arriving at Anfield in the Summer.
