Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is closing in on a return to action.
The England international has been on the sidelines all season so far after suffering a thigh injury in the Summer.
But he will take part in a specially arranged friendly, which will be played behind closed doors, in order to help him regain some sharpness.
Jurgen Klopp is keen to get the former Southampton man back into action as soon as possible, but he won’t be rushing Lallana.
The twenty-nine year old has become a key player under the German since he took over as manager from Brendan Rodgers a little over two years ago.
Klopp has seen his side struggle for goals and creativity outside of Philippe Coutinho in the midfield so far this season and is hoping to have Lallana back soon.
He could return to face former club Southampton if all goes to plan.
