Liverpool are planning a move to sign AS Monaco attacker Thomas Lemar.
That’s according to Le 10 Sport, who are claiming that the Reds will hijack Arsenal’s attempts to sign him.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is said to be very keen on securing a deal for his compatriot this Summer.
But the Gunners manager has failed so far to agree a deal with the Ligue 1 champions.
And that has left the door open for Liverpool to steal in and that could happen if Philippe Coutinho joins Barcelona this Summer.
The report claims that the Frenchman is seen as a possible replacement for the Brazil international if he does move to the Spanish giants.
Liverpool have not made any contact with Monaco or Lemar’s agents, but he is being monitored with a bid in mind.
