Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has again informed the media that Philippe Coutinho is not for sale.
The German boss was speaking to the press ahead of this week’s Audi Cup, being held in his homeland, as he prepares his side to face hosts Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
And the former Borussia Dortmund manager was insistent that he will not be allowing key player Coutinho to leave Anfield this Summer.
“He is not available to be sold. The word is NOT. There is nothing to interpret.” he said.
Coutinho has been strongly linked with a switch to Spain to join La Liga giants Barcelona and the Catalan club have already had an offer rejected during this transfer window.
But Klopp was in no doubt about whether his star man would be making a departure from Merseyside this Summer.
Big spending French club Paris Saint Germain are also interested in luring the Brazil international away from Liverpool, but they are prioritising a move for his compatriot Neymar – who Barcelona would like to use Coutinho as a replacement for.
