Germany international Leon Goretzka has given his suitors hope that he could be available.
The Schalke midfielder has dismissed reports which claim he has already agreed to make a move to join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich when his contract expires next year.
“Honestly, it is really getting on my nerves.” he told Sky Deutschland.
“I can see why it interests people but I can only repeat once again, there’s nothing new to report with Munich.
“I have clearly denied there is an agreement in place – with any club.
“I can promise you this is the case.” he finished.
Liverpool have been linked with an approach for the twenty-two year old as a potential alternative to top target Naby Keita of RB Leipzig.
But there will be fierce competition for his signature, with Bayern continuing to monitor his situation as well as Premier League rivals Manchester City and Arsenal.
