Sessegnon signs Fulham contract

Sessegnon has become a regular in the Fulham side

Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon has put pen to paper on a three year contract.

The teenager had been heavily linked with moves to Premier League clubs with Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester United all vying to lure him away from Craven Cottage.

But he has decided to reject the opportunity to make the move up to the top flight at this point in his fledgling career and will remain with the Championship club for the time being.

“The club is delighted to announce that Ryan Sessegnon has signed his first professional contract with Fulham.” a statement reads.

“Having been eligible to sign a pro deal after turning 17 in May, Sessegnon has now committed his future to the club until at least June 2020.

And his manager is pleased to have the services of the youngster for next season.

“Ryan joined our first-team squad early during pre-season last summer.” Slavisa Jokanovic said.

“One year on, I’m pleased that Ryan’s performances have been rewarded with his first professional contract with Fulham and he will continue to be part of our project in the future.

“He is an exceptional young player who has demonstrated loyalty and commitment by continuing to serve this club since his progression from the academy.” he finished.

    1. Hopefully he may have signed with Fulham so Fulham can get a better price for him as he probably owes them for all they have done for him, how many his age would be playing regular football? He is a player for the future & we would be buying another left back but we definitely need 2 so would be a back up role at first. Though the quality of this guy would mean he’d be 1st choice within a year maybe 2 & hopefully give Liverpool 15 years as seems to be a loyal man but this man’s we can’t let another team get him otherwise we could probably wait a year he would get loads more football & we would get a better player but again I say most importantly we can’t let any other team buy him whatever as we are looking at a future star for Liverpool & a winner
