Liverpool appear to be closing in on a deal to sign AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah.
Ramy Abbas, the Egyptian’s agent, has been in England once again and it looks like talks are finally progressing on a move.
Salah has been linked with a switch to Anfield over the past month or so and the Reds have seen their opening offer turned down by the Italian club.
But the deal is not dead and negotiations have been continuing without agreement so far.
Abbas has posted a photo to his personal Instagram account which indicates that he has arrived in London, with a snap of The Ritz, ready to carry on talks to get a transfer sorted out for his client.
Roma director of football Monchi has admitted that there is interest from an “English club” but has stated that they will not let him go on the cheap.
It is understood that their financial situation will require them to move on a star player for a decent fee in order to meet FFP requirements.
Salah moving to Anfield for a fee of around £35m could prove to be the solution for them.
