Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has agreed to join Galatasaray at the end of the season.
That’s according to Fotomac, who are reporting that the Brazilian has said that he will move to the Turkish club provided they match his wage demands.
The former Gremio man, who moved to Anfield back in 2007, has asked that they give him a salary worth £3.4m in order to complete the deal.
But the article claims that the SuperLig club are not prepared to budge on their offer worth £2.1m a year to the player who celebrated a decade at Anfield this week.
Lucas came close to joining Galatasaray previously, but he was asked to remain at Anfield for one more season in order to provide cover.
But it looks like his spell on Merseyside will finally be coming to an end after he was linked with a move to Italian giants Inter Milan, whose interest appears to have cooled.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly agreed to let him move on, but only if the right deal comes along.
