Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana could be out for up to a month after picking up an injury on international duty.
The twenty-eight year old has suffered an thigh injury while away from the club playing for England against Germany and Lithuania in the past week.
He will certainly miss the Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield on Saturday when Premier League action resumes following the international break.
The injury could reportedly keep him sidelined for the next month – and that means that could be set to miss games against Bournemouth, Stoke City, West Brom, Crystal Palace and Watford too.
It will come as a blow to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, who has made the former Southampton man one of his key players this season.
Lallana was switched to a deeper midfield role this season and is has paid off, but captain Jordan Henderson should be fit to face Everton on Saturday.
That means Emre Can is likely to retain his place alongside the skipper and Gini Wijnaldum for the crunch fixture.
