Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has chosen Barcelona over Real Madrid.
That’s according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, who are claiming that the Brazilian playmaker has told Real Madrid that he will not be joining them.
The report claims that Coutinho is keen to move to the Camp Nou in order to link up with international compatriot and friend Neymar.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain have all been closely monitoring Coutinho’s situation in recent months with a view to making bids in the Summer.
And it looks like those bids will still be made despite the former Inter Milan man signing a contract extension at Anfield earlier this season.
Several former Barcelona and Brazil players have been talking up a transfer to Spain for Coutinho, with Ronaldinho and Rivaldo joining Neymar in calling for a move to be completed.
Coutinho has been in poor form so far in 2017, but most fans would not want to see him moved on.
