Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is interested in joining Liverpool.
That’s according to his agent, Dimitri Seluk, who has revealed that the thirty-three year old would consider leaving the Etihad to sign for one of City’s domestic rivals.
“A move to Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal would be considered.” he told Sky Sports.
Toure was frozen out by City boss Pep Guardiola at the start of the campaign, but has been recalled to the team in recent months.
It still looks likely that the Ivory Coast international will move on from the Manchester club when the campaign is over.
And while Toure is one of the best midfielders to have played in the Premier League in the past decade, he is quite the opposite to the type of midfielder Jurgen Klopp likes to have in his side.
So this one looks like being a non-starter.
