Chelsea keen on Suso deal

Suso celebrates scoring his only goal for the club against Middlesbrough

Chelsea are looking to bring former Liverpool attacker Suso back to the Premier League.

That’s according to Calciomercato, who are reporting that the Spaniard is the subject of interest from Blues boss Antonio Conte.

The twenty-three year old left Anfield to sign for AC Milan back in 2015 and, after a slow start, has become a leading light for Vincenzo Montella’s side.

After playing for his country at multiple youth levels, the attacking midfielder has been rewarded for his fine form with a call-up to the full Spanish squad.

It would come as a disappointment to many Liverpool supporters to see Suso come back to England so soon after leaving the club following a failure to break into the first-team on a regular basis.

He spent time on loan at Genoa last season, where he scored a hat-trick, before returning to the San Siro to find his form under former Italy international Montella’s guidance.

Italian champions Juventus are also said to be keen on signing him.
