Former Liverpool defender Phil Thompson expects Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno to be sold this Summer.
The duo have struggled to get much game time so far this season and the ex-Anfield coach believes that the writing is on the wall for the pair.
Thompson has tipped England striker Sturridge to go elsewhere in order to secure regular first-team football with a replacement being signed.
“I think he’ll want to go to get first-team football and Klopp would let him to bring in somebody more fitting to his style.” he told Sky Sports.
Thompson also thinks that Moreno’s situation has reached a dead end at Anfield with midfielder James Milner keeping him out of the side in the left-back role.
“He will leave for sure. If James Milner, a ring-winger, is keeping you out of left-back then it says to me his time is up>” he said.
Sturridge has been linked with moves to West Ham, Stoke City and Southampton recently while Moreno has been tipped to head back to Spain.
