Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic has refused to rule out the prospect of leaving the Bundesliga club.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with a January bid in recent weeks as manager Jurgen Klopp considers a raid on his former club in the transfer window.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc previously told Bild that “We have said clearly that we are not going to sell Christian. He is in our plans. Liverpool can save itself an offer.”
But the eighteen year old American international has not been so decisive in his words as he keeps his mind open to the idea of moving on from the German side.
“I think with soccer, you never really know what’s going to happen in your career, that’s the beauty of it.” he wrote on Facebook.
“But right now, I’m with Dortmund and very happy. I’m earning my spot and working hard for that team.” he added.
It seems unlikely that Klopp will be able to prise the teenager away from his former club, but it may happen down the line.
