Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is a £40m target for Paris Saint Germain.
That’s according to reports over the weekend which claim that the Ligue 1 champions are lining up a big money bid to try and sign the England international.
The rumours are an indication of how much the former Southampton man has improved since Jurgen Klopp switched him to a deeper midfield role.
Lallana has become one of the leading performers as the Reds look to mount a title challenge this season with his performances in the centre of the park.
Many supporters had doubted whether the twenty-eight year old had much of a future at Anfield after the arrival of Sadio Mane, but Lallana was switched to a new role and he has excelled.
It is highly unlikely that manager Jurgen Klopp would allow him to move on any time soon, so PSG are likely to go away disappointed if any offer is made.
Lallana moved to Anfield in the Summer of 2014 for a reported fee of £25m.
