Klopp orders Barcelona scouting mission

Kaptoum celebrates scoring against Valencia last season

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has ordered a scouting mission to be undertaken on Barcelona.

The German wants several members of Barcelona’s B squad to be checked out ahead of potential moves in the January transfer window.

That’s according to Spanish outlet Sport – who are claiming that Wilfrid Kaptoum, Marc Cardona, Nili Perdomo and Marlon Santos are being closely looked at.

Kaptoum is a midfielder who has already made his full debut for the first-team at the Camp Nou. He managed to get his name on the scoresheet during the Copa Del Rey semi-finals last season.

Cardona is a prolific attacker who has netted five times in four appearances so far this season after joining the Spanish giants from Atlético Sanluqueño.

Perdomo is a right sided full-back who joined Barcelona’s B side from Las Palmas on a free transfer in the Summer after his contract expired.

Brazilian under-20 international Marlon Santos plays as a centre-back and is on loan from Fluminense in his home country.

All four are over the age of twenty and so would be likely to either join the under-23 side or go straight in Klopp’s first-team squad if they are signed.
