Manchester United and Manchester City are set to go head to head in a fight to bring Luis Suarez back to the Premier League.
That’s according to reports from Don Balon and The Express, who are claiming that Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola are both eyeing up the Barcelona striker.
Suarez has been in fantastic form at the Camp Nou and has become an integral part of their attack alongside South American team-mates Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Those two have both put pen to paper on new contracts with the Catalan giants, but Suarez is yet to agree terms on an extension to his deal.
And that could see the two Manchester clubs pounce with huge bids of £135m touted for the Uruguayan forward.
It would be a serious blow to Liverpool supporters to see the twenty-nine year old return to England to sign for a rival team.
A switch to United seems highly unlikely given Suarez’s history with them, despite Mourinho’s apparent intent, but a switch to City would seem more likely.
Sergio Aguero is not the man Guardiola wants to lead the line for his side, according to some claims, and Suarez’s agent is the brother of the Spaniard.
