Representatives of Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge have approached Arsenal regarding a loan deal, according to Goal.com
The England international striker has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Reds team since Jurgen Klopp arrived.
But despite that he will not be allowed to leave Anfield this Summer as Klopp is keen to keep working with Sturridge.
The former Chelsea forward was only afforded substitute appearances against Burton Albion and Tottenham Hotspur last week after a poor outing at Burnley.
He faces strong competition from Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino for a place upfront and could be looking to move on if these reports are true.
Sturridge was an Arsenal fan as a child and the London club are said to be on the look out for another striker.
It seems highly unlikely that any loan deal will be done today.
