Mamadou Sakho’s agent has dismissed talk of a move to Roma for the defender.
The Liverpool centre-back was sent home from the US tour by Jurgen Klopp for disciplinary reasons.
Rumours began to surface that claimed the France international could be set for a move away from Anfield, with former club Paris Saint Germain said to be interested in taking him back to France.
And now Italian club Roma have been linked with a bid to sign Sakho, but his agent has said he’s had no contact and his client will be staying at Anfield.
“No, I haven’t had any contact with Roma.” Niakate Housseyni said.
“He didn’t have an argument with his manager, Jurgen Klopp.
“So he’ll stay at Liverpool? Yes, he’s a Liverpool player.
“I don’t think Roma have that opportunity right now.” he concluded.
