Liverpool midfielder James Milner has admitted that he is not sure about his England future.
The thirty year old has won sixty-one caps for his country, but wants to speak to new boss Sam Allardyce about what potential role he has going forward.
The former Manchester City man has said that he doesn’t want to be part of the squad if he isn’t going to get game time.
“I have two young kids and if I am not going to play, and travel, that is something I am going to have to consider.” he told the Echo.
“I have been to four tournaments but that hasn’t helped me at all.
“With the good young players that we have coming through, it is pointless me taking up a spot just because I am reliable.
“I am happy it is Sam as I know I can have a good conversation with him and it will be honest. That is all I ever wanted.” he finished.
