Hull City have made an audacious loan offer for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke.
The Hull Daily Mail are reporting that the newly promoted Premier League club are looking to bring in a new striker and have identified Benteke as a man they want to sign.
But they are highly unlikely to get anywhere with a temporary deal for the Belgian striker, with Liverpool looking to recoup as much of the £32.5m paid to Aston Villa a year ago for Benteke.
Hull are said to have also made an approach to Manchester City to take Wilfried Bony on loan, but that is set to be unsuccessful as well.
The play-off winners have only got Abel Hernandez available to play upfront at present and haven’t made any signings yet this Summer.
Manager Steve Bruce quit his post recently and the squad are said to be unhappy with proceedings.
