West Brom have reportedly made an approach to sign Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe.
That’s according to The Mirror – who claim that the England under-21 man is wanted by Baggies boss Tony Pulis.
Ibe scored against West Brom on the final day of the Premier League season after having a fairly disappointing campaign.
Following some impressive performances in the second half of 2014/15, after his recall from a loan spell at Derby County, Ibe had convinced many that he was the ideal replacement for Raheem Sterling.
But he failed to kick on and only showed his best in a handful of games last season.
Jurgen Klopp has splashed the cash on Southampton man Sadio Mane this week and that is likely to see Ibe slip further down the pecking order in the squad next season.
And the German is said to prefer the idea of sending Ibe out on a temporary move rather than lose him permanently.
So a loan deal could be the best way forward for the former Wycombe Wanderers trainee.
