Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen will reportedly make a Summer return to former club Swansea City.
That’s according to reports which claim that former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers will also make a return to the Welsh club and has made Allen his number one target.
It has been reported by The Express that Swansea have been told that the Wales international will cost them at least £10m despite Allen having just over a year left on his contract at Anfield.
He quickly followed Rodgers from The Liberty Stadium to Liverpool in the Summer of 2012 in a deal worth over £15m, but has since struggled to hold down a regular spot in the side.
The exit of Rodgers back in October was seen as the beginning of the end for Allen by many supporters, but those who believed in him were given renewed hope by his improved form that has seen calls for a new contract grow.
But it now seems that his days could be a numbered and a reunion in Swansea with Rodgers could be on the cards.
