Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp is being linked with a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen in January.
The German has been limited to just four La Liga outings since moving to the Camp Nou in the Summer of 2014 and is said to getting frustrated at his situation.
He has been used in cup competitions by manager Luis Enrique, but Claudio Bravo is very much the number one keeper at the European champions and that situation shows no sign of changing.
With Euro 2016 coming up next Summer ter Stegen will want to be playing regular football to ensure his place as backup to Manuel Neuer is secure and Klopp could be set to take advantage of that.
Current goalkeeping duo Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan have failed to impress and both have made high-profile errors in recent weeks that have cost the Reds goals and games.
Finding a new stopper looks likely to be a priority for Klopp and if he can secure a deal for ter Stegen in January then it seems likely that he will make the move for his compatriot.
