Spanish publication Marca has reported that Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev could be set for a move to Merseyside in January.
The Russian international has struggled to break into Rafa Benitez’s side since deciding to stay with the Spanish giants back in the Summer.
He is now said to be very keen on securing an exit from the Bernabeu, however, with Euro 2016 looming next Summer.
Cheryshev has managed less than an hour of football for Real so far this season and is believed to be no longer on speaking terms with Benitez.
Spanish sides Valencia and Villarreal, the latter of which he spent last season on loan at, are believed to be preparing loan moves for the attacker.
Everton are said to be keen on taking him to Goodison Park, so if Jürgen Klopp decides to make a move for Cheryshev he will face plenty of competition elsewhere.
Is Klopp really interested in Cheryshev or is this old news resurfacing? Let us know what you think below…
