Liverpool goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux has returned to the club from Swindon Town after having his loan spell terminated .
The twenty-one year old moved to the League One club at the start of the season and had been in good form the Mark Cooper’s side.
However, after turning up late for training last week, Vigouroux was told he would be fined £50 – and he reportedly decided to pay this with pennies.
The Daily Mail claim that Cooper and some senior players had spoken to Vigouroux about his attitude prior to the fine being produced in small change.
Cooper refused to discuss the matter in any detail and just said that it was an “internal matter.”
“It’s a disciplinary internal matter. It’s come from me and the rest of the players. It’s been dealt with.” he said.
Former Liverpool trainee Ty Belford is likely to take over as Swindon’s number one.
