Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws are reporting that Liverpool rejected a bid from Fenerbahce to sign Divock Origi on loan.
The Turkish side are said to have made an offer to take Origi for the season as well as Lazar Markovic.
Markovic has moved to the SuperLig club and he made his first assist for them in their 2-1 win over Bursaspor at the weekend
Origi made his first start for the Reds in last week’s 1-1 draw with Bordeaux in the Europa League opener.
Aside from that, he has made just one substitute appearance – in the 3-1 loss against Manchester United almost a fortnight ago.
With the return of Daniel Sturridge against Norwich City at the weekend, as well as the signings of Christian Benteke and Danny Ings, Origi may struggle to get much game time this season.
Rumours emerged at the weekend that Brendan Rodgers was considering sending the teenager out on loan in the second half of the season provided Sturridge stays fit.
