Reports today claim that West Brom manager Tony Pulis is lining up a move for Jose Enrique ahead of tomorrow’s transfer deadline.
The Liverpool defender has been told he can leave Anfield and is training away from the rest of the first-team squad.
Spaniard Enrique has previously said that he has been left to feel “alienated” by manager Brendan Rodgers, along with Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli.
The Italian duo have both moved on now, which leaves Enrique to train on his own and with the under-21 squad.
Spaniard Enrique also stated his determination to stay at Anfield as he didn’t want to lose out ‘economically’ and he insisted that he could fight his way back into the side.
The twenty-nine year old also said that if he had to leave, he would rather remain in the Premier League.
A move to the Hawthorns would allow him to remain in the country.
