L’Equipe are reporting that Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is looking to make a move to the Premier League – with Liverpool touted as contenders for his signature.
The French international has been linked regularly with a move to Anfield over the last six months.
He was the top scorer in the French Ligue 1 last season, with twenty-seven goals in thirty-one games for Lyon.
Lacazette helped fire Lyon into the Champions League for the coming season, but it looks as though he will push for a move away.
Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain have been linked with a move along with Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Liverpool are on the lookout for a new striker despite having brought in Danny Ings and Divock Origi this Summer.
Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke is said to be top of Brendan Rodgers’ wanted list, but Lacazette would be a very appealing alternative if he could be persuaded to move to a non-Champions League club.
