Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne is undergoing his medical with the club after a fee of £12.5m was agreed.
Clyne was photographed outside the Spire Hospital in Liverpool this morning as he went for his physical check.
The deal is likely to be announced on Wednesday, when the transfer window officially opens.
England international Clyne has been long linked with a move to Liverpool, as well as rivals Manchester United, and it looks like he will finally make the switch.
Southampton will be angered to lose yet another player to the Reds, but with just a year left on his deal and no intention of signing a new one, they needed to sanction a deal.
Clyne will join the growing list of additions to Brendan Rodgers’ squad, with James Milner, Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings, Roberto Firmino and Joe Gomez already signed.
