Manchester City defender Micah Richards has said that his next move will depend on where he can get regular game time.
The twenty-six year old is out of contract next month and has been linked with a move to Anfield on a free transfer.
He has spent the season on loan at Italian club Fiorentina, but has struggled to break into their first-team and has sat on the bench for much of the campaign.
“I’ve not played enough games out here.” he told Talksport.
“I feel I’ve done well enough to be in the starting XI.
“Obviously being a loan player it’s difficult. I’ve loved every experience though and definitely feel I’ve improved as a player.
“My last game is on Sunday and I’ll sit down and discuss with my family what the best thing is going forward.
“It will be a team which guarantees me time though.
“Over the last couple of seasons, at Man City when Pablo Zabaleta came in and did really well, I found myself on the bench.
“Then I went to Italy and I was guaranteed to start, but they changed the formation and the manager believes he has other players who can play positions better than me.
“I can hold my head up high though.” he finished.
It seems unlikely that he will move to Anfield given Andre Wisdom and Jon Flanagan recently signing new deals.
