Bookmaker Ladbrokes have made Manchester City the favourites to sign Liverpool attacker Raheem Sterling.
The twenty year old, who scored for England on Friday evening against Lithuania, has so far rejected all offers from the club for a new deal and has put off negotiations until the Summer.
Sterling is believed to be considering his options with some reports claiming that he is unhappy being asked to play the right wing-back role recently.
City have been linked with a Summer move for Sterling and the rumours appear to be gathering pace with the Premiership champions reportedly looking to increase their homegrown quota for next season with the impending exit of Frank Lampard. James Milner is also looking likely to leave the Etihad, further reducing their numbers.
Premiership rivals Arsenal and Chelsea are the next clubs in the ratings for Sterling’s next club, while Real Madrid are still high up in the running after boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted his admiration for Sterling.
“With Sterling refusing to discuss a new deal until the end of the season, punters are backing the Reds favourite to turn Sky Blue in the summer.” Ladbrokes spokesperson Jack Beresford said.
The current Ladbrokes odds on Sterling’s next club are:
Manchester City: 3/1
Real Madrid: 6/1
Paris Saint-Germain: 10/1
Bayern Munich: 14/1
Manchester United: 14/1
