Team news: Liverpool go for attack against Besiktas


    Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has gone for an attacking line-up for the second leg of the round of thirty-two in the Europa League against Besiktas at the Ataturk this evening.

    BesiktasfansStrikers Daniel Sturridge and Mario Balotelli have been brought into the team with Raheem Sterling in a supporting role behind the pair.

    Emre Can has been moved up into midfield in the absence of vice-captain Jordan Henderson, who has joined Steven Gerrard and Lucas Leiva on the injury list.

    Kolo Toure comes into the side and will play in the back three alongside Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren, who both faced Southampton on Sunday.

    Alberto Moreno and Jordon Ibe occupy the wide berths in the side, with Adam Lallana dropped to the bench to accommodate two strikers.

    There are places on the bench for teenagers Jordan Williams and Connor Brannagan.
