Brendan Rodgers has warned Liverpool supporters not to expect any additions to the squad in the upcoming January transfer window.
The club have been linked with moves for several strikers as well as a replacement for goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. But Rodgers has said that he does not expect to bring anyone in.
“There won’t be much if any transfer activity from us during the January transfer window.” he said.
“I don’t think January is a good time to spend. I’m happy with how the group is progressing after tough start to the season.
“If there’s something that can improve us, I’ll take that to the owners.”
Rodgers spent over £120m in the Summer transfer window and the new signings have had mixed starts to life Anfield. So it remains to be seen whether the board will be willing to provide him with more funds.
