Pepe Reina insists he is in no rush to sort out his future, having returned from his season long loan with Serie A giants Napoli.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is eager to sell the 31-year-old in order to raise funds for his own transfer business, having backed Simon Mignolet to remain as first choice goalkeeper next season.
Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Napoli have all been linked with a permanent move for the Spaniard, however Reina insists he is in no hurry to make a decision.
Reina has been selected as a part of the Spanish World Cup squad, and with the tournament kicking off in just over two weeks, the keeper won’t make a decision on his future until his international duties are finished.
“Right now I am just thinking about the national team,” he said.
“With regards to a new club, first I’ll have to talk with Liverpool.
“There’s been nothing from Barcelona. They have only just bought Ter Stegen so that position is filled. And I haven’t been in contact with Atletico Madrid. Anyway, I’m sure there’ll be desperate to keep hold of (Thibaut) Courtois.”
