Danny Wilson seals Hearts switch

Defender Danny Wilson is set to complete a move back to his native Scotland with SPL side Hearts.

The 21 year old was signed by former Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson in the summer of 2010, and cost approximately £2M.

He went on to make a total of 8 appearances for the Reds in his debut season, with the majority of appearances coming in the Europa League. The defender also played a part in Liverpool’s 2010/11 Carling Cup campaign, which finished a lot sooner than planned.

Wilson only made one appearance for the club in the 2011/12 season before joining Blackpool on loan. He then moved briefly to Bristol City before joining Hearts on another temporary deal in January 2013.

He will sign a three year contract with the Scottish club once his Liverpool deal expires at the end of the month.
